Our newly elected representatives, who are part of our school council, have decided that they would like to do a non-school uniform day, coupled with an activity fair in the school hall, on Friday 18th September to raise money for those affected by the Nepal-China floods.
This will take place on Friday the 18th of September (next Friday). The day will comprise a non school uniform day as well as a fund raising fair in our main hall. Each form class are planning an activity that will include a
- Bake sale (there could be more than one)
- Basketball shootout
- Football penalty shootout (outside)
- Guess the name of the teddy.
- Tin can alley
- Operation Steady hand electronic buzzer competition.
The money raised will be donated to the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent (IFRC) Societies appeal in support of the flood relief – an organisation recommended by the UK Government. Donations can be made here.
The school children raised over £700!!!
